About Our Company's History

English, Inc. has been based in Heidelberg since 2002 and is led by Andrew Cerniski, an experienced English language trainer and developer of training programs.

Andrew earned his Master of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. He then worked for many years in market research and management consulting before turning to language training for business purposes and founding English, Inc.

With a Master of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley and years of experience in market research and management consulting, Andrew Cerniski founded English, Inc. in 2002. His vision was to revolutionize Business English training through innovative methods and individually tailored learning programs.

Andrew's approach combines his academic training with practical business experience to develop training that is both effective and relevant for today's business world. Under his leadership, English, Inc. has developed into one of the leading providers of professional language training in the Heidelberg region.

Introduction of Open Courses

Development of the Ascend System

The innovative Ascend System is developed - a structured 6-level program that systematically leads learners to higher language levels.

New Premises

Move to new, modern classrooms in the heart of Heidelberg's old town, providing optimal learning conditions.
